Welcome to Ilargia, my little corner of the creative world. I’m Stephanie Herr, a Nevada-based designer creating handmade jewelry and other unique pieces inspired by the beauty of nature and the spirit of Basque tradition.
As a self-taught maker, I craft every piece with deep intention, care and meaning. Growing up in Elko, Nevada, surrounded by a large Basque community, I developed an early connection to the culture’s strength, symbolism and people. That connection lives on in each ring, bracelet, necklace and keepsake or apparel I create.
Whether shaped by folklore, the energy of the earth, or ancient symbolism, each item is a quiet tribute to love, transformation and the magic found in both making and wearing something meaningful. The name, Ilargia, means moon in the Basque language of Euskera.
